Our Gorgeous Alexandrine Mutation’s

Here at AMK Aviaries, 5 years ago we started expressing more interest in our Alexandrine Mutations. Our main focus is breeding the Blue’s, Grey’s, Lacewings, Cinnamon’s, Grey Greens, Violet Green’s, and Lutino Alexandrine’s.

We have had a very successful breeding season with our Mutations here at AMK Aviaries, we have some great quality birds breed and look forward to seeing their breeding potential in the near future. In the Past Few years AMK Aviaries has acquired some quality new mutations and paired up with our own breed stock and we are looking forward to our breeding season as we should have some amazing Mutations available.

Diet’s & Feeding:

As with all Parrots it’s important to feed Alexandrine Mutation’s a Diet that included’s Pellets, Seed mixture as well as a variety of mixed Fruit & Vegetables. It is important they get a sustainable amount of Fruit & Vegetables because Seed Mix & Pellets do not contain a reasonable amount of Nutrients and it is important they do get the correct amount to live a healthy lifestyle.

Here at AMK Aviaries we feed our Alexandarine Mutation’s of a morning their Veta Farm Nutri blend, seed and there mixed Fruit and Vegetables. Also to ensure they are hydrated we refill their water bowls with our automatic watering system one/twice per day depending on the heat. The fruit and Vegetables we feed them consist of;

• Capsicum
